CITB Construction Skills Health and Safety Awareness
Course Aims
To provide a practical summary of health and safety, welfare and environmental issues identifying individual responsibilities for looking after themselves and others, what the employer’s duties are and what should be done if they think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.

This course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce.

Course Objectives
This course highlights potential hazards when working on site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. It covers your individual and employer’s responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk. At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:

This course can be undertaken prior to the CSCS HSE test.
