The COSS course is for delegates who want to act as the Controller Of Site Safety, setting up a Safe System of Work on Network Rail's infrastructure. It also covers PTS recertification. You must have been deemed suitable by your sponsor.

You will be given the knowledge and training to provide protection to groups who work on or near the track.

This course will go through elements such as clear communication, planning & creating safe system of work, conducting briefings, emergency procedures, checking sentinel cards, working in a possession, working lone and line clear verification.
